A Visit to Wisconsin

AMAZING NEW SYSTEM BUILDS YOUR BUSINESS ON AUTOPILOT

The dairy state (AKA Wisconsin) offers a number of really unique places to visit. Wisconsin offers some great outdoor areas that should be visited and enjoyed for their beauty and uniqueness. The state parks are a great start, offering an amazing opportunity for biking, hiking, and camping. Often thought of as a completely flat state, it couldn't be further from that truth. Two well known state parks offer spectacular views from the bluffs which were created from the receeding glaciers.

Devil's Lake State Park is one of the most popular destinations, with a beautiful lake surrouded by rocky bluffs on all sides. This park is also the largest of all the state parks in Wisconsin. This lake has been admired as early as when the native peoples of Wisconsin built their effigy mounds in the part. Offering wonderful opportunities for hiking, the trails range from easy to strenuous. You can hike up and down the bluffs, which offer a spectacular view of Devils Lake and the surrounding area. The lake offers both a north and south beach where you can swim or rent canoes and rowboats. You can also camp overnight in devils lake with plenty of individual camping sites, along with an area for large groups. The history of this park is incredible.

Located in Lower Wisconsin, Govenor Dodge State Park is another incredible find. It is located by the House On the Rock (a historically interesting house that was reminiscent of Frank Loyd Wrights work) and is just a small distance away from cave of the mounds a national landmark. Another State Park in the area called Governor Dodge, also offers swimming, camping, hiking, and even horse back riding. This is a beautiful park that also resides in the bluffs but has a completely different feel then Devils lake. You can also view two different waterfalls or take a swim in either of two lakes that reside in the park.
